Steam PC specs, Deck notes, languages, DLC, and how to keep 1.0 running after patch 1.00.05.

Doloc Town System Requirements

Doloc Town is a Steam-only side-scrolling farming sim from RedSaw Games Studio, published by Logoi Games and Pathea Games (app 2285550). The 1.0 build launched August 5, 2026; Early Access began May 7, 2025. This page collects the official minimum PC specs, what we know about Steam Deck, which languages ship in 1.0, optional DLC, and the launch-week settings that stop the UI from sliding off your monitor. It is not a substitute for Getting Started — it is the “will this run?” companion.

Doloc Town is single-player only. You only need a Steam install and enough disk space — no extra online service beyond the store client.

Official minimum requirements (Steam)

Steam lists a single Minimum table for Windows. There is no separate Recommended block on the store page, which matches a lightweight pixel title:

ComponentMinimum
OSWindows 10
ProcessorIntel Core i3-6100
Memory8 GB RAM
GraphicsNVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
DirectXVersion 11
Storage2 GB available space

If your machine clears that bar, the bottleneck is usually disk space for Workshop packs, not GPU horsepower. Leave headroom beyond 2 GB if you subscribe to crop or décor mods — see Workshop.

Laptop players should still expect a fan spin during Old City Ruins particle storms and festival nights. Panoramic capture and off-screen HUD after a resolution change were listed on 1.00.03 and closed in 1.00.04. Install 1.00.05 before you treat a launch-week screenshot as current.

Steam Deck and handheld play

Handheld owners should read the dedicated Steam Deck guide for Verified notes, battery life, and Steam Input. This page only flags what belongs next to the spec table:

  • The storefront is Windows / Steam. Deck compatibility is a Proton/SteamOS overlay, not a native console SKU.
  • Bind drone auto-fire (mouse 3 / R on keyboard) to a rear paddle so exploration in drone combat does not fight the virtual mouse.
  • After changing resolution, if the HUD draws off-screen, update to 1.00.04 or 1.00.05 — that 1.00.03 bug is marked fixed. Revert the preset only if you are still on the old client.

Languages in the 1.0 client

The full release added beta localizations on top of the Early Access set. Steam currently lists interface and subtitle support for:

English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian.

There is no full voice-over track. This wiki is separately localized into English, French, German, and Japanese — a smaller set than the game, by design (we do not ship Simplified Chinese or Russian on the site). In-game language and wiki language are independent.

If a string is cut off on the name-entry screen, update to 1.00.03; that exact bug is in the hotfix list.

DLC, soundtrack, and current price

Optional add-ons on Steam:

  • Doloc Town - Digital Artbook (330+ pieces, three PDFs)
  • Doloc Town Original Soundtrack (33 tracks)
  • Supporter Pack bundle (game + artbook + OST, extra 10% if you already own a piece)

None of that DLC is required for the 80 achievements, Old City Ruins, or automation. The soundtrack pairs nicely with the Mysterious Melody disks you redeem on the codes page, but the disks and the DLC album are different products. Item sell rows still live on doloctowndb.wiki, not in the artbook PDFs.

Launch list price sits at $19.99 USD, with a celebration discount advertised through mid-August 2026. Bundles with other Logoi titles appear and disappear; ignore them when planning tech tree points.

Performance and stability checklist (1.00.05)

  1. Install the latest Steam build — 1.00.05 sits on 1.00.04 (hat 12315, farm prices, drones, Guardian). 1.00.03 still matters only for Early Access save collision history on the 1.00.03 page.
  2. If the game black-screens, delete unsupported BepInEx injectors first. A workstation near the cellar was a 1.00.05 hotfix — see 1.00.04 / 1.00.05.
  3. Keep a manual save before the Old City Guardian. Losing that fight could soft-lock on 1.00.03; 1.00.04 is the client that should let you retry.
  4. Change resolution in town until you confirm you are on 1.00.04+.
  5. Close extra overlays if festival crowds stutter; the pixel art is light, but Workshop textures are not.

What these specs mean for your first week

A machine that only just meets the GTX 460 line will still farm, cook, and finish the 30+ hour story. You do not need a modern ray-tracing card to enjoy crops or friendships. Spend money on understanding weather protection and the early-game research order, not on a GPU upgrade for a 2 GB farming sim.

If the client will not launch at all, verify Steam files, confirm Windows 10 or newer, and make sure DirectX 11 runtimes are present. Then come back to How to Play once the menu appears.

Meet the minimum, install the hotfix, and the wasteland is a CPU-light commute. The hard part is still acid rain, not shader settings.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Windows 10, Intel i3-6100, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 460, DirectX 11, and 2 GB of storage, according to the Steam store page.

Does Doloc Town run on Steam Deck?

It is a Steam PC release that many Deck users play through SteamOS. Use the Steam Deck guide for input and battery notes.

Is there a console version?

Not at 1.0. The only official storefront is Steam for Windows.

Which languages does the game support?

English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian. Audio is not fully voiced.

Do I need the artbook or soundtrack DLC?

No. They are optional. Story, achievements, and farming systems are in the base game.

The interface is cut off after I changed resolution. Is my PC too weak?

Probably not. That was a 1.00.03 bug and is marked fixed in 1.00.04. Update the client; revert the resolution only if you are still on the old build.
