Letters mean gold per stamina and per minute on vanilla Steam 1.0, after patch 1.00.04 retuned Dumbo Octopus, Mahi-mahi, and tank growth. Mid-game wild targets
Catfish prefer night hours (about 19:00–02:00) and a better rod. Golden Fish show in the Deep Forest pond and double as a Shylock haggling stack — do not sell the last one. Sturgeon incubates and grows faster after 1.00.04; Dumbo Octopus incubates slower and its minigame escape bar was corrected. Dumbo is no longer catchable outside Doloc Town.
Mahi-mahi difficulty dropped in 1.00.04. If you bounced off the launch-week reel, retry on 1.00.05. Confirm rarity and pool rows on doloctowndb.wiki — Arapaima rarity was also on that patch list.

Wild casts feed tonight. Tanks print Abundant Collection and processed goods. After 1.00.04, Sturgeon is the tank you want to start; Dumbo is the tank you do not rush. Drying new variants needed 1.00.03 first. Keep broodstock in a chest before a “useless Carp” sale.
Cooking can outrank raw S-tier the same way Mixed Endfoods outranks two Endyam. If a plate sells for the same as the fish, eat it on a ruin day instead (Cooking and stamina foods).
